Steve -
Some of those "homes" have multiple houses on them, so it's hard to tell -
is it 7, is it 10...

Personally, I like the elitist Shelly-Ann Fraser.

Subject: [owen] Out of touch elitists

There has been a fair amount of chatter this campaign season about Obama
being "an out of touch elitist." I don't know what that means, and I always
thought that elitism was something to aspire to (see, e.g., Michael Phelps,
Usain Bolt, etc.) but I wonder whether the following is as close to the
pejorative version of the expression as can be found:

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said in an interview Wednesday that he was
uncertain how many houses he and his wife, Cindy, own. "I think -- I'll
have my staff get to you," McCain told Politico in Las Cruces, N.M. "It's
condominiums where -- I'll have them get to you." The correct answer is at
least four, located in Arizona, California and Virginia, according to his
staff. Newsweek estimated this summer that the couple owns at least seven
properties.
