The damn Valero across the street from the courthouse is stuck on $3.38.  I can go a little out of the way, maybe ½ mile, on the way home to find gas south of $3.00.  I need to fill my scooter on the way home, which means I need 1.1 gallons of gas.  Factoring in the extra time if I go out of the way, and the cheap-ass label if I do so, what is my best option?

 

On second thought, the cheap-ass label is a badge of honor with this readership, so just factor in the extra time and the extra gas incurred in saving 38 cents.

 

Who am I kidding?  I'm talking to a group (how's it hangin', Uncle Lawrence?) that will detour miles to save a quarter.
