    My form has been sitting on my desk since I received it from Barbara last year.  It has moved from the pile in the far right upper corner of the desk, next to the Homer Simpson plaque that reads "Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand", all the way down past the Waterford crystal desk clock my parents gave to me a long time ago, to the pile next to my limited edition (number 31,340 of 400,000) Elvis Pez Dispenser Tin with 3 Elvis Pez dispensers, 2 sleeves of Pez candy, AND The Essential Elvis Presley CD, which is directly behind the holy trinity of my coffee cup with the roach painted on the side, yesterday's plastic to-go cup of tea from lunch at Riscky's BBQ, and my cell phone.

     

    This is progress we can believe in.  Now, I must return to the pile directly in front of me.  I am presently drafting a ruling from a custody hearing last Friday that I promised to deliver to the lawyers last Monday.  I do really well with firm deadlines, hint, hint.
