Please substitute this for the first sentence in my reply:
I submit to you that the claim you make in the first paragraph is rank nonsense.

The framers knew they were creating a work in progress, not a finished government.
They wrote procedures into the constitution making it possible for succeeding
generations to improve our government.  So, when the US Supreme court voted,
unanimously, in 1954, that court demostrated how well our government works.
Ditto the Civil Rights Act of 1964.  It showed us that we can trust our 
government.  The guarantees in that act came way late, but they came.  Our 
government continues to be a work in progress.  

Please show me, Josh, if there is a single thought in the above that has one 
single thing to do with whether I vote republican, independent, democrat, or socialist.
