  Hello Family,

  The connection has been quiet lately so I was thinking we need to engage on a subject other than politics.  I propose we play Owen Trivia.  My idea is to throw out the name of a family member and ask those reading the connection to respond with a factoid about said family member that we all would enjoy to know.  Lord knows we have quite an interesting group and I would sure like to hear some trivia.

  To get things going I propose we start with Donnie Owen.


  I remember Grandmother always had a jar of pickled cucumber slices in the fridge and they were delicious.

  I remember Grandmother baked the best pies often hauling them to church in the back of her black Mercury Comet.  She took great pride in those pies and I sure liked eating them.


  I can't imagine anyone reading this doesn't have a fond memory or factoid concerning Donnie so please hit the reply button and share.
