Personally, I found the speech to be rather vanilla.  Other than the oozing narcissism, I thought it pretty weak stuff.  Certainly would rather my child studying than listening to someone like Obama though....

Just for the heck of it, here is a look back at what liberals not too long ago thought about Presidential speeches to the Nation's schools.

I find it humorous that Conservatives are mocked for doing exactly what the Left did just a few years ago.  Actually, we didn't even respond to Obama as forcefully as the lefties did back then.
